ROYAL CANIN BREEDER ACCOUNT OPENING REQUIREMENTS

 

1. Breeder must be a member of Malaysian Kennel Association (MKA).
2. Breeder's Kennel will be visited by Royal Canin Malaysia representative prior to account opening.
3. Breeder must always comply with the 5 freedom principles for the animals:
   1. Freedom from hunger and thirst: by ready access to fresh water and a diet to maintain full health and vigor
   2. Freedom from discomfort: by providing an appropriate environment including shelter and a comfortable resting area
   3. Freedom from pain, injury or disease: by prevention through rapid diagnosis and treatment under a certified personal (veterinarian)
   4. Freedom to express normal behavior: by providing sufficient space, proper facilities and company of the animal’s own kind
   5. Freedom from fear and distress: by ensuring conditions and treatments which avoid mental suffering
4. Breeder must be actively breeding with at least 5 adult dogs (minimum 4 females) and minimum of 3 litters per year.
5. Direct pet owners shall be given priority with respect to any sales of puppies by the breeders. Any selling of puppies through other parties must be notified to Royal Canin Malaysia
6. Breeder must actively recommend Royal Canin products and provide new pet owners the ‘Royal Canin Puppy Starter Kit’ once the puppies are sold.
7. Breeder should register as a member of Royal Canin Club (mobile application) in order to participate Royal Canin Puppy Recruitment Program. 
8. Royal Canin Malaysia will provide Royal Canin Club tools to assist breeder on the puppy recruitment process.   
9. Breeder must not sell the products purchased from Royal Canin Malaysia to any third party. Both Royal Canin and Eukanuba products purchased are strictly for own kennel feeding only.
