ROYAL CANIN® RENAL + HYPOALLERGENIC dog dry is a complete dietetic feed for dogs formulated for the support of renal function in case of chronic renal insufficiency and for the reduction of ingredient and nutrient intolerances, with restricted level of phosphorus, hydrolysed protein sources and selected carbohydrate sources. Thus, this diet is formulated with a low phosphorus content and provides a moderate amount of high-quality proteins to help support kidney function. This formula’s adapted energy content reduces the volume of each meal, helping to compensate decreased appetite in some dogs. It also contains hydrolysed protein with low molecular weight to ensure a highly digestible, low allergenicity diet. The inclusion of hydrolysed protein makes it easier for your dog’s digestive tract to absorb the protein and helps reduce the risk of adverse reaction to food from the immune system. Thanks to a combination of supportive nutrients, this formula also helps to support the natural protective barrier role of your dog’s skin to help maintain optimal skin health. Due to its highly technical nature and the requirement for a diagnostic, this diet can only be recommended via a veterinary clinic through a consultation for your pet.
