ROYAL CANIN® URINARY S/O + HYPOALLERGENIC dog dry is a complete dietetic feed for dogs formulated for the dissolution of struvite stones, the reduction of struvite stone recurrence, and for the reduction of ingredient and nutrient intolerances. Thus, this diet helps to dilute your dog’s urine, making it less liable to form crystals. To help lower the concentration of ions that can contribute to crystal formation, this diet contains low RSS (relative supersaturation). This formula contains hydrolysed protein with low molecular weight to ensure a highly digestible, low allergenicity diet. The inclusion of hydrolysed protein makes it easier for your dog’s digestive tract to absorb the protein and helps reduce the risk of adverse reaction to food from the immune system. Thanks to a combination of supportive nutrients, this formula also helps to support the natural protective barrier role of your dog’s skin to help maintain optimal skin health. Due to its highly technical nature and the requirement for a diagnostic, this diet can only be recommended via a veterinary clinic through a consultation for your pet. Transitioning your pet from one diet to another should be a smooth and gradual process over a 7–10-day period. Please ensure you follow the correct rationing amount.

RECOMMENDATIONS: It is recommended that advice from a veterinarian be sought before use and before extending the period of use. Feed URINARY S/O + HYPOALLERGENIC dry for 5 to 12 weeks for the dissolution of struvite stones, initially up to 6 months for the reduction of struvite stone recurrence, and 3 to 8 weeks for the reduction of ingredient and nutrient intolerances: if signs of intolerance disappear this feed can be used initially up to one year.
