* A fibre rich diet may support dogs suffering with constipation, however it may also increase faecal volume which is contraindicated in some cases of constipation, particularly if associated with dehydration, obstipation and/or obstruction. For these cases a low residue diet such as GASTROINTESTINAL may be recommended.
** A food elimination trial is recommended for cases of chronic colitis or diarrhoea.
*** In these cases, the recommended diet is Gastrointestinal Low Fat.
ROYAL CANIN® GASTROINTESTINAL HIGH FIBRE dry is a complete dietetic feed for dogs formulated for the compensation for maldigestion. Highly digestible feed. RECOMMENDATIONS : It is recommended that a veterinarian's opinion be sought before use. Feed GASTROINTESTINAL HIGH FIBRE dry initially up to 12 weeks and lifetime in the case of chronic pancreatic insufficiency.
Composition: Vegetable fibres, maize*, animal fats**, rice*, dehydrated poultry proteins*, wheat*, maize gluten*, wheat gluten*, dehydrated pork protein*, hydrolysed animal proteins*, minerals, beet pulp, soya oil**, psyllium husks and seeds, yeasts products, fish oil**, fructo-oligo-saccharides (0.48%), algal oil Schizochytrium sp. (source of DHA)**, yeasts (source of manno-oligo-saccharides) (0.19%), marigold meal. Highly digestible ingredients: *Highly digestible protein sources: 52.6%, **Highly digestible fat sources: 11.1%.
